Procedure


1. Export Saved Credentials From Chrome

The Chrome export file contains:

  • Website (URL)
  • Username
  • Password

Steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click three dots (…) → Settings.
  3. Go to Autofill → Password Manager.
  4. Click the three dots next to “Saved Passwords.”
  5. Select Export passwords.
  6. Confirm by clicking Export passwords again.
  7. Authenticate with your device password/PIN.
  8. Save the CSV file.

2. Import Into Bitwarden

  1. Log into Bitwarden Web Vault or open the Desktop App.
  2. Select Tools → Import Data.
  3. Choose Chrome (csv) as the format.
  4. Upload the exported CSV.
  5. Click Import Data.
  6. Verify all URLs, usernames, and passwords are correctly populated.
